Responsibilities & Required Skills:
Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
Working knowledge of virtualized infrastructure environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
Firewall and security activity review and maintenance like Sophos, Bitdefender, etc.
Port management like port forwards, port block / unblock, access limitation, etc
URL routing
Load balance review and maintenance.
OS – Linux and windows server administration
Mac OS
Mac mange in MAC system
Mac manage in Non Mac system
Azure AD – experience in Azure AD management
RDP – experience in Remote desktop management
Server and data security
Server performance review and optimizations
Create, manage and review FTP/FTPS/SFTP.
The ability to resolve common virtual machine and host server bottlenecks.
Solid understanding of server backup technologies and methodologies
Install and create system readiness for employee work systems.
Maintain and track asset information
Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
Maintains web system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, and operating and system management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing and escalating application problems to vendors.
Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights
Managing SSL certificates on our portals.
Requirements:
BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Experience with or knowledge operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
